I have loved 4-15-78 ever since I was handed the tape years ago. Wow, what a finish and only the first song of the show.

Was anyone there to hear it?

Whats your favorite?

Hey, late...This is the best HALF STEP i believe exists:

11/6/77, Binghampton.

Just incredible...perfectly played, no errors in music or lyrics...and the two major jam sections are blazing Jerryfests.

Check it out.

First show I remember going to was 11/2/79 and Mississippi half step opener - pretty cranking once they turned the sound on - rest of the show is pretty impressive too

I'm still convinced that 10-28-79 is the best Half Step there is. Phil absolutely drives this 15 minute monster and it absolutely soars!!

4-15-78 is my favorite Half-Step as well...

10-29-85 and 4-1-88 are good Brent-era versions, and 8-3-82.

10-20-78 also jumps to mind.
